Donations

As an individual donor you can play a vital role in the development of the Dame Malvina Major Foundation - every donation received can make a difference. The amount you donate will go towards a programme or scholarship to help aspiring young talented performers to obtain professional guidance in their field of expertise.

All donations are tax deductible. The Dame Malvina Major Foundation was registered as a charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005 on 1 May 2007, registration number CC10225.

The recent changes in tax laws relating to donations to Charitable Trusts have improved the tax rebate a taxpayer can receive for donations to registered organisations. All donations up to the taxable income of an individual qualify for a rebate which is one-third (33%) of the amount donated.  By taking advantage of this, you can help the Foundation to do more for our young performers.

Bequests/Pledges

To make a bequest or legacy in your will is a valuable and enduring way of assisting in "sharing the dream' of Dame Malvina. It will be your personal investment to benefit potential star performers of the future. Since the Foundation began in 1991, the income from bequests has become an integral part of providing grants for young performers.

Sponsorship

The Foundation welcomes the opportunity to discuss proposals or arrangements involving naming rights, scholarships or reciprocal benefits.
